The first step would be to get in touch with us to discuss what you need and determine if we are the best provider to assist you.
There are different ways Stretchy Tech could work with you, but the most common process is for you to complete an assessment with one of our Occupational Therapists (OTs).
You can contact us by phone at 1300 043 837, by email hello@stretchy.org.au or complete our online form to start the conversation.
If you are not already working with an external OT that has a clear idea of what assistive tech you need, you will most likely need an assessment by one of our Stretchy Tech OTs.
The OT will visit you at your home for an initial assessment. This assessment will determine what kind of assistive technology would be suitable for you.
To arrange an initial assessment, complete and submit the online contact form. You will receive a service agreement to approve before the occupational therapist comes to see you.
If you experience any trouble completing the form, call Stretchy Tech on 1300 043 837 for assistance.
While Stretchy Tech's customers are primarily NDIS participants, we also work with customers who are funded through My Aged Care, LSA, RTWSA and TAC.
You can even self-fund your solution provided it addresses a disability-related goal.
If you have a goal in mind and you have had an OT assessment which provides a clear solution, our knowledgeable technology experts can work with you to deliver the solution.
Our OTs can work collaboratively with external OTs to develop and finalise solutions for mutual customers. This process would still begin with an initial OT assessment, but the level of support from our OT can be determined prior to this appointment.
Yes, we have worked with people with a range of physical and non-physical disabilities. We can prescribe and install solutions that assist you with cognitive functions or sensory input. For example we can assist you with setting up routines and reminders on your smart devices. Visit our AT Solutions Hub to see some examples.
While Stretchy Tech can provide tech-only support, OT input is recommended as the NDIS will often request a letter of support to show that the technology solution is disability-specific before agreeing to the requested funding.
All our OTs have extensive experience with smart home solutions. If you need other assistive technology and services like large scale home modifications, bathroom modifications, wheelchair assessments and general OT support, we can refer you to alternative providers.
As part of the installation process, one of our tech experts will work closely with you to get you operating your solution with ease and confidence.
Stretchy Tech provides responsive maintenance should you have any concerns with your technology. Simply get in touch with us to discuss any issues with your technology.
If you visit the AT Solutions Hub on our website, you will see the types of problems we can help solve and the technology solutions we offer.
You can also make an appointment to visit the Stretchy Tech Hub in Unley to see a demonstration of the products on display.
