We take the time to ensure we understand your situation and what you want to achieve with assistive technology.
We are passionate about technology - the kind of people who can't wait to play with the latest and greatest tech in a rapidly moving field. Our team includes experienced occupational therapists and innovative solutions technicians, who think outside the square. We work collaboratively with individuals living with all types of disability or impairment, as well as support coordinators, service planners, allied health providers, personal support agencies and government.
We know what technology works and we'll put together a custom technology package for you based on your interests. We'll work closely with you to get you operating this technology with ease, whether that be by hand, switch, voice control, or any other method. We'll review and adapt until the solution works for you.
The first step - Assistive Technology OT Assessment
Our Occupational Therapists (OTs) work with you to identify assistive technology that will enable you to live your best life. We do not have a one size fits all approach. We take an in-depth look at your individual needs, concerns, and goals to create a tailored solution for you. Our solutions are focused on increasing independence, dignity, well-being and freedom, both at home and in the community.

With new clients we recommend a 12-hour Service Agreement for Assistive Technology Occupational Therapy Assessments. This allows time for the Occupational Therapist’s assessment, research, travel and report writing (as required).

Technology Supply and Installation
Stretchy Tech supplies a wide selection of mainstream technologies so we can work flexibly with you across a range of operating systems and devices. We focus on finding the best suited tech for your needs.
After we have identified your tailored technology package, our team will look after everything, from sourcing the equipment, customising it and organising the installation. Once installed, our technicians will also show you step-by-step how to use your new technology.
Technology Support and Training
If you want to be more confident with tech, we can show you how so that you can make the most of your technology.
Our team of smart device specialists and occupational therapists can create tailored programs to ensure you maximise your knowledge and skills. Examples include learning to master voice control of your computer or phone, improve your gaming skills, or learn to control tech with your eyes.
Technology Maintenance and Repairs
We provide responsive maintenance for all the technology we have installed, simply reach out to us if you experience an issue with your technology. Where possible we will troubleshoot over the phone or via email. If needed we will book a smart device specialist to attend your home to resolve the issue.
For technology we didn’t install, we can work with you to help find a solution to your problem. We’ll do what we can to get you back in action.
