On 7 November 2024, inhousing opened the doors to their newly completed Floriedale Road development for a special open house and the official launch of the inhousing and Stretchy Tech Strategic Plan 2024-27.
The event was attended by a range of guests, including the Honourable Nat Cook MP, who opened the formal proceedings. Also joining us were inhousing tenants, customers, government partners, board members, staff, and other key stakeholders.
Speeches were given by CEO Robbi Williams, who shared insights into the history and purpose of inhousing, and Board Deputy Chair Hamish De Silva, who outlined the vision and core pillars of the new Strategic Plan.
In an engaging Q&A session, inhousing tenant Hanna Wilson shared her experience collaborating on the design and development of her new rental home, speaking with Alistair Trethowan, our Program Manager, Property Development. Stretchy Tech customer Nick Schumi also spoke about the inclusive technology installed in his home and how it supports his independence.
Guests were able to tour the Floriedale Road properties, which combine inclusive assistive design and technology, setting a new benchmark in accessible and inclusive housing.
