Stretchy Tech Training
There is nothing like the expression on someone’s face when they first realise they can now control things on their own that they previously relied on others to do. But inclusive technology doesn’t just turn on lights and open doors, it opens the world.
That’s why it is absolutely vital that the disability community understands and embraces the life-changing power of inclusive technology.
At Stretchy Tech, we live and breathe this stuff every day. So we’ve developed this training module so that current and future workers in the disability sector can learn what they need to know today to best support their customers.
It’s not about being a tech head, it’s about understanding what’s possible and how technology is changing the way an individual uses their support and what this means for their workers.
Essential for
Disability support workers
Disability service providers
By the end of this course, you'll be able to:
Explain what inclusive technology is and how it positively impacts the lives of people living with disability
Understand the role inclusive technology plays in a customer’s life
Outline why being respectful towards customers and their technology is so important

The program prepares people to work in the disability sector by introducing them to inclusive technology, the impact of the technology on someone’s life, what technology is available and what can be funded.
Across 3 parts, learners will gain a comprehensive and practical understanding of inclusive technology. The program is designed to be completed flexibly, at the learner’s own pace.
